Security glass meeting draws more than 100 attendees

More than 100 people attended the security glass workshop hosted by the All India Glass Manufacturers' Federation (AIGMF).

The All India Glass Manufacturers' Federation (AIGMF) hosted a meeting focused on security glass on Friday (March 27).

More than 100 people attended, with attendees including glass manufacturers, students, Alfred University USA, industry leaders from AIGMF as well as members via a hybrid mode.

It also included overseas participants from the USA, Japan and Iran.

The keynote address, titled Developing Unbreakable Glass Solutions, was delievered by Mr. Aashish Tyagi, Director Gold Plus Glass Industry.

There were also presenations titled:

- Burglary Resistance Glasses by Mr. Rishabh Patel Technical Manager, AIS

- Bulletproof Glasses by Ms. Pallavi Mungekar, Country Sales Manager, – Security FG Glass Industries

- Blast Resistant System by Mr. Ashwin K B, Technical Engineer, Vetrotech Saint Gobain

- Transparent Glass-Ceramics for Armour by Dr. Atiar Rahaman Molla Sr, Principal Scientist, CSIR-CGCRI.

Presentations were given by AIS, SGGI, Gold Plus, FG Glass, CGCRI, and AGI, while a Q&A was led by industry stalwart Mr. Sharanjit Singh of the Federation of Safety Glass.
